The first in our new FORUM series, Beauty Bawdy & Bloody: Venus and Adonis from Ovid to Shakespeare was a dramatised reading of Shakespeare's seldom-performed piece followed by an open-floor discussion on the modernity of Ovid's classic tale.
We were delighted to welcome Dr Charles Moseley, fellow and tutor of Hughes Hall and professor of Classics and Literature at the University of Cambridge, who lead the discussion.
